Long Wifi key problem

hi,
I installed version 16 and cannot get it to connect to my network,
My wifi code is 25 characters, and it just seems to accept 24. When copy the correct key, submitting it, and then copy it and check it misses the last character.
Also setting it when uploading the sketch does not work either.
It did work in the original fw that came with the esp (esp201)

Any ideas ?
(no not want to change my key to shorter one, that is a terrible hassle changing al my current devices)

Will be fixed in R17 where the limit is according to RFC spec limit (63 char alphanumeric key size)
